All of the puppies have left for their forever homes. The house is very quiet. Chloe (our 2 year old) is heartbroken, but we have assured her that there will be more puppies to come. We miss all of them, but know they are very happy and spoiled in their new homes. :)

Most of the puppies have already left with their forever families. It is such a pleasure to meet such wonderful people. We feel blessed that our babies are going to such wonderful homes. There is still one puppy looking for his forever homes. Ozzy is a really really sweet puppy. Jack has really bonded with him and is trying to talk me into adding him to the Zimmerman household. We have never even considered keeping a male in any of our previous litters since we already have Mason as our stud. Not to mention 4 boxers already. And a two year old. We have agreed to wait a week or so to see if he finds a wonderful family. If not, he will likely end up staying. The household is already so quiet with just two puppies, Ozzy and Nemo. Nemo will be going to his new home next weekend.

Puppies Final Vet Visit

The puppies went to the vet for their final exam/vaccinations/deworming/etc. this evening. Everyone checked out in excellent health!! They are all ready to meet their forever families :)

We just took on the challenge of taking pictures of nine playful/rambunctious boxer puppies. Trying to get them to stand still for a picture is a chore, lol. Our camera didnt help either. Half of the pictures turned out blurred or dark. Its on its last leg. After taking several thousand pictures of puppies, our daughter and other various things I can understand why. There is a family that is supppose to come see the puppies this evening. There are still four puppies available, but it usually seems that the closer to the time that they are ready to go that people want to come see them or place a deposit on one. We have never had the problem of not finding a wonderful home for each and every puppy. The puppies are scheduled to go into the vet for their final vet examination, vaccinations, etc. on Monday evening. Then next weekend most of them are off to their forever homes.

Its hard to believe that the puppies are almost ready for their new homes. In a couple of weeks we will have to say our goodbyes. Believe me, its not easy. We are however excited to see them going to such wonderful homes. It is going to be especially hard on our two year old daughter who has become attached to each and every one of them. Even though we named each puppy, she has her own names for them. Dora, Boots, Calliou, Mickey, Minnie, etc. She calls them something different everyday, but its always her favorite cartoon characters. :) Almost all of the puppies are going out of state. A couple people have asked us about local hotels, because it is to far for a one day trip. We have puppies as far west as Colorado, as far south as Florida, as far north as Maine, New Jersey, and a lot of places in between. We dont ship our puppies alone on planes, but have had people fly in and take a puppy or two onboard with them. Northwest Airlines allow you to do this. Wonderful News!

We just got wonderful news today. Loki and Kenzie will be going to the same home! We love it when our babies go to the same home. We have had other families in the past come for two puppies. We have also had extended family, neighbors, friends, co workers, etc come together for two puppies. Its always nice when they get to see each other growing up and as adult boxers. It is also nice because it helps with their transition and it is easier to train them etc. It has always worked out well for us in the past. Also, we updated the pics again today. We felt really bad when the website went down over the weekend and we were unable to add new pics. Figured we would try to make up for it today by adding a few more. Enjoy!

Website Issues

We were experiencing website issues over the weekend and were unable to upload pics. Sorry! We know there are a lot of members that look forward to us updating pics on the weekends.Thank goodness the issue was resolved and we were able to upload some pics this evening. The puppies are doing great. They are doing really well with the weaning process. They love to make a mess! They have food all over themselves. Then they lick it off each other. Soooo cute. One of the many joys of having a litter of boxer puppies. :)

Puppy Update

The puppies are growing up fast! We are starting the weaning process this weekend. Always messy fun :) They are really starting to interact with us and even starting to play. They are also starting to become more vocal. Especially when mamma says they are done eating. She is a really good mamma though. We really enjoy having the puppies around. The house is always quiet and lonesome when they leave for their new homes. Our almost three year old adores the puppies. She wants to hold them every minute. We have had several people contact us that are interested in the litter, but want to wait to place a deposit until the puppies are a little older. That is fine, but we have had very disapointed people in the past when someone else placed a deposit on the puppy they were looking at. The puppies are doing great!! Their eyes have started to open and they are starting to wobble around the the whelphing box. :) We added a couple of additional photo folders this past week. One shows off pics that people have sent us of puppies from our previous litters. Another with just a few various pics we snapped of our daughter with the babies. Also, the puppies were born on Sunday, January 13th. We had a typo on one of the pages that said they were born on the 18th. We have received a deposit on Kenzie, so she is sold. She is going to a wonderful home in NJ. We have had several inquries regarding other puppies. The plan is to start advertising them this week. The Puppies Are Here!

We had a beautiful litter of nine puppies on Sunday January 13th. There are 6 males and 3 females!! :) They were into the vet Wednesday evening for their tail docking, dew claw removal, and intitial vet examination. Everyone appears to be in excellent health. We have several very flashy puppies in the litter. We will try to update pictures of the puppies weekly, but can take additional pictures of a particular puppy/puppies upon request.
